Hicks with Sticks has two radio shows scheduled featuring new SFBA releases and highlights from Viva Las Vegas #29. There’ll be new releases from Bay Area bands including Nashville Honeymoon, Jinx Jones & the Kingtones, Poi Rogers, Porkchop Express, Kevin Carducci, Joe Rut & the Sunshine Shovelers, Secret Emchy Society, Attila Viola & the Bakersfield Boys, and more. Stompin’ Steve Hathaway and Jose Segue will have returned with stacks of music from Viva Las Vegas (April 8-12) to play on their respective shows..
Jose Segue will broadcast and live stream on KALW, 91.7 FM, Saturday, April 18th from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. Stompin’ Steve will do the same on KKUP, 91.5, Sunday, May 3rd from 9:00 to midnight. There’ll be ticket and CD giveaways on these shows which is the advantage of listening to them live. But if you can’t tune in, both shows will be posted on this site the day after they’ve aired.
