Hicks with Sticks is the site for roots Americana, alt-country and rockabilly in the San Francisco Bay Area. Hicks with
Sticks began as a radio show in October 1999. An e-newsletter told listeners about future guests, new CDs, news and
events, and soon the newsletter had a larger audience than the radio show. The newsletter, which still appears on the Home page, developed into this site. Sending "subscribe"
to have the news and calendar delivered to you. As always, "No ads, no spam and never a cover charge."
