The schedule is up for Viva Las Vegas #29, and again features four days (4/9-12) of events, bands from all over the world, and a mix of music including swing, rockabilly, Old School R&B, honky-tonk, and surf (at the Tiki Pool Party.) This will be Tom Ingram‘s last year as he hands it over to VLV veteran Robbyn Bukowski, better known as Audrey DeLuxe. After 29 years of shows, induction into rockabilly’s HoF, and earning a key to the City of Las Vegas, there aren’t many other mountains he needs to climb.

The Western Swing-Out is back for its 8th year, May 23-26, at the VFW post in Tehachapi, CA. Some will change their vintage outfits three times each day, but most don’t go that far. Schedule.

Closer to home, Hillbilly Robot will be hosting honky-tonk and bluegrass at the Plough & Stars on Clement in SF every weekend in February. Follow #Shelby.Ash.Presents on Instagram for details.

The Papermill Creek Saloon, which is in Forest Knolls in West Marin, returns to business after along stretch of closure and remodeling. Schedule.

Club DeLuxe had booked bands for their opening in January, but those bookings were cancelled and the opening is now two months away. It seems like it has been two months away for six months, but they really are working on it. Honest.
