UPDATE 11/2/12: The track list from the show has been added to this post. Click to view.
Hear a passle of Bay Area twang, mainly new releases, from the B-Stars, Earl Brothers, Blue Diamond Fillups, Kathy Kallick band, Texas Steve and the Tornadoes, Jimbo Trout and many more. We may even find time for some new tracks from our California neighbors like Red Eye Junction in San Luis Obispo or the Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit in Oakdale. It all happens this Thursday, 10/30 at midnight, when Jose Segue once again joins forces with DJ Meaty Paws on KALX to bring the best of local western swing, honky-tonk, alt-country, rockabilly and fellow travelling genres to the airwaves and netwaves.
Those in range of the UC, Berkeley campus radio station can find KALX at 90.7 FM. Those out of range can hear it via the Web, but the shows are not archived, so you need to tune in when the show airs at midnight, either way.
Getting these show archived here on Hicks with Sticks remains a work in progress, but one that is getting ever closer thanks to recent changes to the site. Stay tuned.
Dear Jose,
You have a typo on one version of your little pic with the dialog bubbles! It’s a bad one. Please fix!
You’ve got the number for the frequency incorrect. The frequency for KALX is 90.7. (Not what you have listed) Eek! You have it correct in one image… and wrong in the other. I wanted you to know.
