The Stringband Fever festival, plays every weekend in April at the Plough and Stars, 116 Clement in SF, and features an Americana cavalcade of old-timey, bluegrass, Cajun, honky-tonk, and insurgent country. All shows are $6-$10 (sliding scale) and start at 9:30. Check the schedule below or the producer’s site at Shelby Ash Presents.
This festival, now in its 13th year, and once called SF Bluegrass and Old-Timey (SFBOT), then Hillbilly Robot, also provides stage time for up and coming bands, making it a great opportunity to hear who’s new.
