Find 65(!) S.F. Bay Area western swing, honky-tonk, alt-country and rockabilly bands on the newly updated HWS “Bands” page. Each band’s name is accompanied by a picture, and both their name and picture are linked to either their site or an option like Soundcloud or Bandcamp.
As a trend, bands are opting for Facebook and Instagram instead of their own sites. Video links provide the sounds and sights of each band.
Here’s an example: the band’s name and picture link to the band’s site (if it has one.) The italicized line provides a brief description of the band’s music, and “Shows,” “F’book,” “I’gram” and “Video” contain links to band calendars, social media and videos (when they have them.)
